Started in San Francisco in 2012, Silent Book Club celebrates the joy of reading in peaceful camaraderie, supporting local communities and offering a unique way to unwind. Our event is a perfect escape for anyone looking to enjoy books and companionship in a relaxed setting.
No assigned reading, no pressure to review together — just bring your book, pour a cup of free hot cocoa, and enjoy the simple pleasure of reading with others. Everyone is welcome at this free event that promises a refreshing evening of literature and community.

Note: Johnson Hall is located in the main lobby space on the second floor of Straits Lodge on the campus of Mission Point Resort. The lodge is situated on Wendall St. against the East Bluff. Enter through the second-story doors in the center portion of the building. An accessible entrance with elevator access is located on the far east end of the building.
